A New Protection Model
CPPG is the bridge between contract and proprietary security. Our synergy is the beginning of a new protection model for museums, libraries and other cultural properties, encompassing the advantages of both systems.

We understand the inherent dynamics and nuances of the museum world. Our security officers are trained specifically for work in cultural properties. Our training program includes museum-specific and site specific training developed just for CPPG.

CPPG security officers receive special training that prepares them for work in the more refined and cultured environment to which they are assigned. This includes basic art appreciation and what we jokingly call “charm school” where they learn how to interrelate with others in a cultured environment. We recognize that how a security officer relates to the museum visitor, school groups, and staff will diminish or enhance their experience. A diminished experience as a result of something an officer says or does is not acceptable to us.
CPPG officers are training certified by Horizon Institute, the CPPG subsidiary specializing in training. Horizon Institute programs train more museum security officers worldwide than all other commercially available programs combined. Through the Horizon certification program, officers must pass tests for each level of training and show proficiency.
